Willi's on Clayton Road in Jesmond, the best place to eat in the entire world, was fab as always. You must all have taken me very seriously when I blogged about this a few months ago.... it was heaving and apparently they're busier than ever ;-)
Seven Stories was great. I'd been a bit worried as there was a special event on and my kids hate that, but it wasn't too busy and actually they all joined in with making a car and racing it.
They even listened to a story.
Rosie was a mouse.
Dad enjoyed chilling in the soft play. It was his first time at the museum and he thoroughly approved.
Martha chose a slightly more exotic costume.....
Rosie refused to pose.....
Then changed her mind.
Rosie looks well chilled .... but actually she decided she really is a two year old, she's not just the family comedienne, and she hasn't had enough attention this week thankyou very much. She was awful. I missed most of the car making - I spent the time going up and down in the lift with ehr keeping her happy. We had much Irish dancing in the lobbies, that foot stamping thing toddlers do whilst screaming when things aren't right in their world. It was generally pretty noisy so her howling wasn't too overwhelming. Must try to keep things calm and give her more quality time this week. Dad has the week off so hopefully things will have a chance to shake down.
E made a flag to wave the races off 'for the baby' and duly trotted home with it. Hope TR appreciates it haha.
